Even-Orah Foundation is a non-profit organization working to empower underserved youth and women in the Niger Delta. Through leadership development, entrepreneurship training, and community-based initiatives, we help individuals improve their lives and contribute to the development of their communities.
We focus on three main areas:
- Leadership Development – Training, mentorship, and civic engagement opportunities to develop confident, community-minded leaders.
- Entrepreneurship – Vocational skills training, business development support, and access to resources for small-scale entrepreneurs.
- Community Development – Projects that solve social, economic, and environmental challenges in local communities.
Our programs are open to:
- Underserved youth and women living in the Niger Delta region.
- Individuals facing challenges such as unemployment, limited access to education, or poverty.

Eligibility is based on location, motivation, income level, and vulnerability factors such as disability or displacement.
You can apply by filling out our Beneficiary Selection Form, which asks for basic personal, educational, and household information. We assess motivation, economic status, and readiness to participate. The form may be accessed online or through our community outreach events.
Trainers go through a detailed selection process that evaluates:
- Qualifications and field experience
- Teaching ability and communication skills
- Cultural sensitivity and alignment with our values
- Availability and track record of working with underserved populations
We prioritize trainers who demonstrate passion for social change and commitment to youth and women empowerment.
We provide:
- Leadership Training – Focused on critical thinking, civic engagement, communication, and teamwork.
- Vocational and Entrepreneurial Training – Covering practical skills, business development, financial literacy, and planning.
- Community Development Projects – Training participants to lead or support initiatives that improve their neighborhoods.
All trainings are hands-on and aimed at long-term impact.
We use performance metrics such as:
- Class attendance and participation
- Assignment and project completion
- Leadership skill development
- Business plan readiness
- Entrepreneurial interest and financial understanding
Graduates are also assessed for readiness to join our Economic Empowerment School.
Graduates may:
- Receive ongoing mentorship and business support
- Be linked with micro-grant opportunities or partnerships
- Join alumni networks and leadership forums
- Lead or collaborate on community-based projects
